
New ISCA taskforce to probe financial reporting gaps

The Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) has launched the Strengthening Financial Reporting Taskforce to enhance investor confidence in capital markets. The taskforce will review Singapore’s financial reporting framework, focusing on the communication of financial performance, risks, and long-term value. It aims to improve corporate reporting quality, governance, transparency, and accountability. Chaired by Euleen Goh, the taskforce includes representatives from various sectors and will engage stakeholders before issuing recommendations. ISCA President Lee Boon Teck emphasized the importance of financial reporting in maintaining market integrity.
