Imperial Brands Revenue Rises, Fueled By Next-Generation Products

Imperial Brands reported a revenue increase to 14.72 billion pounds in the first half of the fiscal year, driven by a 7.5% growth in next-generation products like vapes. However, pretax profit fell to 791 million pounds, down from 1.30 billion pounds a year earlier, due to rising administrative expenses linked to its 2030 strategy review and legal settlements. Adjusted operating profit also declined by 0.5% to 1.64 billion pounds, missing analyst expectations of 1.66 billion pounds.
