This came after the carrier had previously considered going with Starlink. </p> <h2><strong>Musk Criticizes Delta Air Lines' Amazon Leo Pick</strong></h2> <p>Last week, Elon Musk, in a post on X, criticized Delta Air Lines' choice while responding to a comment on the social platform that suggested that talks broke down between both companies due to a portal branding disagreement.</p> <p>In his response, Musk noted that SpaceX requires that there be no &#34;annoying&#34; portal to use Starlink, adding that &#34;Delta wanted to make it painful, difficult, and expensive for their customers.&#34; &#34;Hard to see how that is a winning strategy,&#34; Musk added.</p> <h2><strong>Delta Air Lines Points to Pricing, Added Benefits</strong></h2> <p>However, in an interview with <em>Bloomberg </em>on Monday, Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian said it opted for Leo over Starlink as the former offers lower pricing with the added advantage of a library of streaming content and video gaming technologies. </p> <p>Bastian said this will make a big difference. This is even as Amazon's technology is expected to power travelers' activities such as streaming a movie, playing games, and joining a video call while in the air.</p> <p>Meanwhile, the deal is seen as a shot at Starlink, which significantly outnumbers Amazon in terms of the number of satellites in orbit. According to estimates, Starlink has more than 10,000 satellites in orbit. </p> <p>By contrast, Leo, formerly the Amazon Kuiper project, only launched its first 27 satellites in April last year.</p> <h2><strong>Is Amazon a Buy or Sell Right Now?</strong></h2> <p> On Wall Street, Amazon's shares continue to enjoy a Strong Buy consensus rating from analysts. This breaks down to 45 Buys and one Hold issued by 46 analysts over the past three months.</p> <p>In addition, the average AMZN price target of $318.23 suggests about 20% upside from the current trading levels.</p></div>
