Angle Advisors announces Shift Transit has been recapitalized by Main Street Capital Corporation
Recently in Birmingham, MI, Angle Advisors shared the exciting news of the recapitalization of Shift Transit, LLC and Shift Transit Inc., known jointly as “Shift Transit”. Shift Transit is a prominent micromobility operator that offers extensive maintenance and logistics services for docked bikeshare and scooter share systems throughout North America. Main Street Capital Corporation (NYSE: MAIN) led the recapitalization in partnership with Shift Transit’s founders and current owners. Main Street’s total investment in the transaction amounted to $40.0 million, including a blend of first lien, senior secured term debt, and a direct minority equity investment.
