    (MT Newswires) -- Guangxi Yuegui Guangye (SHE:000833) subsidiary Guangdong Yuegui Jingyuan Mining submitted a 222.2 million yuan bid for quartzite mining rights in Lianzhou City, Guangdong, China, according to a Thursday filing with the Shenzhen bourse. The mining area has an area of 0.444 square kilometers and contains mined reserves of about 18.2 million cubic meters, with 10.4 million cubic meters of quartz ore for glass, the filing said. Shares closed 1% lower on Thursday.
