The company offers material-grade germanium products, including germanium ingots and germanium dioxide; photovoltaic-grade germanium products, such as solar germanium wafers; infrared-grade germanium products that includes germanium single crystals and blanks, germanium lenses, infrared thermal imaging cameras, and optical systems; fiber-grade germanium products comprising germanium tetrachloride for optical fibers; and compound semiconductor materials, including gallium arsenide and indium phosphide wafers. It also engages in the production and sale of germanium coal. The company’s products are used in infrared optoelectronics, solar cells, optical fiber communications, light-emitting diodes, vertical cavity surface emitting lasers, high-power lasers, lasers for optical communications, and detectors.
