JP Morgan raised the target price for CMOC to 30 yuan and reiterated the "Overweight" rating. The bank stated that after CMOC completed the acquisition of the Brazilian gold mine, management aims for gold production of 6 to 8 tons this year and plans to reach 20 tons by 2030. At the same time, the copper production guidance is also supported. The bank raised CMOC's profit forecasts for this year and next year by 27% to 30%

China Molybdenum Co. Ltd. has completed a $1.2 billion issuance of zero coupon guaranteed convertible bonds due 2027. The offering, finalized on January 26, 2026, will allocate approximately 40% of the net proceeds for expansion and sustaining capital for overseas mining assets, and 60% for enhancing trade working capital and general corporate purposes. The bonds are listed on the Vienna MTF of the Vienna Stock Exchange.
