The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Qatar rose by 1.44% in December 2025 compared to November, reaching 112.39 points, with a year-on-year increase of 1.95% from December 2024. Eight of the twelve main consumer goods groups saw price increases, notably Recreation and Culture (6.84%) and Miscellaneous Goods and Services (1.87%). The Education group experienced a slight decline of 0.02%. Excluding housing-related costs, the CPI stood at 117.68 points, reflecting a monthly rise of 1.71% and a year-on-year increase of 2.05%.
