Sun Zhiyang, Deputy Secretary of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee and Mayor, stated that Guangzhou will accelerate the establishment of the Greater Bay Area International Commercial Bank, promote the development of cross-border asset management centers, facilitate the cross-border flow of personnel, and simplify the mutual recognition of professional qualifications and approval processes. In addition, Guangzhou will strengthen the interconnection of financial markets, improve the QDLP and QFLP pilot programs, expand cross-border wealth management products, promote mutual recognition of rules for cross-border digital identity verification, and establish a data governance coordination mechanism. Guangzhou will also create an international medical service center and advance the standardization pilot for cross-border elderly care services
