GRAINS-Soybeans regain ground on dollar slide, U.S.-China trade hopes
Chicago soybean futures rose 1.0% to $10.64 a bushel, supported by a lower dollar and positive U.S.-China trade talks. Wheat and corn also saw gains, with wheat up 1.1% at $5.15-3⁄4 a bushel and corn up 0.9% at $4.27-1⁄2 a bushel. The market reacted positively to U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's comments on soybean purchases from China, despite concerns over a record harvest in Brazil and mixed weather affecting crops in Argentina and the U.S.
