Chinese robotics firm Unitree Robotics has received two design patents for humanoid robots, focusing on simplified structures and modular architecture for future upgrades. The robots are intended for various applications, including industrial work, commercial services, household assistance, and space exploration. Additionally, Unitree shipped over 5,500 humanoid robots in 2025, with mass production exceeding 6,000 units for the year, specifically for fully humanoid robots.
