Land supply for private housing continues to fall in first half of 2026
The Singapore Government Land Sales (GLS) programme will reduce land supply for private housing on the confirmed list in the first half of 2026, while increasing the reserve list. The confirmed list will offer 4,575 private residential units, down from 4,725 units in the second half of 2025. The reserve list will rise to 4,610 units. Analysts note developers will be selective in bidding due to economic uncertainty. The overall private housing pipeline will remain high at around 9,200 units. The government will monitor market conditions to ensure a stable housing market.
