Albemarle, Lithium Argentina hit new 52-week highs as Scotiabank upgrades

Lithium Argentina AG Reports 2025 Production at High End of Guidance

Lithium Argentina AG reported strong preliminary operational results for 2025, achieving production of approximately 34,100 tonnes of lithium carbonate, at the high end of its guidance. The fourth quarter saw record production of about 9,700 tonnes, with cash operating costs expected to drop below $6,000 per tonne. The company reduced net debt by $26 million and has over $150 million in liquidity. Additionally, it submitted applications for a Stage 2 expansion to increase production capacity by 45,000 tonnes per annum.
