There is lot of uncertainty around potential future leadership at the Fed, including whether someone like Kevin Warsh would act independently. I am generally being comfortable with Jerome Powell’s approach. Too much uncertainty.

Anyway, leadership changes are part of the process and I hope the continuity within the Fed can still provide stability.

I think different reactions to capex hikes are caused by purposeful narratives that are meant to drive market sentiments, without which liquidity cannot be accelerated. Is the FOMC meeting actually neutral/balanced or hawkish? Do remember Headlines are meant to solicit attention and a neutral one doesn't cause any hype.

AI humming along as expected and will continue to do so being early in its development still. Now if only the responsible people get a hold of themselves and prioritise peace over their big heads and egos…..

I believe in the AI race, the memory chips will continue to soar. It has strong momentum and is expected to continue outperforming the broader market. AI is home!

Warsh is back, rate cut is back! The major headwind is dismantled. However he is not interested in QE, so becareful about the fed put still being a guaranteed.
