    ReNew Energy Global Sells Gadag Transmission Limited to IndiGrid for $41 Million

    ReNew Energy Global Plc has agreed to sell its stake in Gadag Transmission Limited to IndiGrid for $41 million.     India - REMC announces 1GW tender winners

    Railway Energy Management Company (REMC) announced the winners of its 1GW renewable energy tender. The six winners are ACME Solar Holdings, ReNew Power, Bhalki Solar Power, Purvah Green Power, Jindal Green, and Ayana Renewables. The bids were awarded at Rs4.35/kWh. REMC is a joint venture between the Ministry of Railways and RITES.

    India – ReNew in new Andhra Pradesh spend

    ReNew Energy plans to invest US$6.7 billion in new green projects in Andhra Pradesh, building on a previous commitment of US$2.5 billion. The projects include a 6GW PV ingot-wafer plant, a 2GW pumped hydro project, and a green ammonia scheme. Recently, ReNew secured a US$331 million loan from the Asia Development Bank for a solar-wind-BESS project, part of a US$477 million financing plan. The project aims to provide 300MW peak power and includes a 837MWp facility and a 415MWh battery storage system.
