SpaceX has placed its first orders for Nvidia GB300-based AI servers to Taiwan’s Foxconn, amid plans by Elon Musk’s company to buy 13,000 of them in all, worth an estimated US$52 billion, ($4M each), media report, citing unnamed industry sources. It’s the first time SpaceX has turned to Foxconn for production. Speaking as a holder of a miniscule Tesla position. Originally the shinning star in the EV sector, it has been overtaken by BYD (Build Your Dream) in global sales. Under the charismatic Musk, the company should have been renamed SAD (Sell a Dream) as the goalposts for the wet dreams have consistently been shifted but the mesmerized crowd like the dreams he pitched. Not going to buy the dip but will just keep my freehold position to see how far it can go.
