Yangzijiang Shipbuilding is the fifth company in China, and the first private enterprise, to build a large LNG carrier. The "Xinfu 124" ship, built by its subsidiary Yangzijiang Xinfu (Fujian), successfully conducted its river trial on November 20, 2025, and is scheduled for delivery in June this year. The vessel has an overall length of 297 meters, a molded breadth of 46 meters, a molded depth of 26.5 meters, a capacity of 175,000 cubic meters, a MARK III Flex membrane containment system, with a daily boil-off rate of 0.085% per day.
