Right now, Micron is expanding memory and storage manufacturing and advanced packaging across the globe, with new fabs in Idaho and New York, a modernized manufacturing facility in Virginia, manufacturing and advanced packaging investments in Singapore, a cleanroom expansion in Japan, expanded operations in Taiwan, and India’s first assembly and test facility in Sanand. In the United States alone, this includes more than $250 billion in manufacturing and R&D investments expected to create over 90,000 jobs while helping meet growing demand for the memory and storage that power AI and other transformative technologies.

Semiconductor manufacturing is one of the most complex processes in the world, built by the engineers, technicians, construction teams and community partners at Micron sites everywhere we operate. Happy International Manufacturing Day.
