Probability of Fed Rate Hike in October Stands at 38.2%

According to the CME FedWatch Tool, the probability of the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged at 3.75%-4.00% during its October meeting is 61.8%, while the probability of a 25 basis point rate hike is 38.2%. Looking ahead to December, the probability of rates remaining at 3.75%-4.00% is 13.3%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point hike is 56.7%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point hike is 30%.
