Dcaing more to my google position due to my conviction in it. Support seems to be around $380 and im looking to add more and hopefully it will break $400 soon.

Not much changes to my holdings as stocks have been consolidating. Dcaing into alphabet stock at $395 and below and im waiting for it to break out of $400. Nvdia earnings beat and im waiting to see how the stock market reacts.

Navigating the stock market carefully as the S and P 500 is breaking all time highs continuously. Reminder to myself not to fomo and buy companies at all time high valuations. Like warren buffet said “Be fearful when others are greedy” and i will continue to be disciplined and slowly dca into stocks.

Money was concentrated in big tech. Not too sure if I should diversify maybe I will pour my money into other durable stocks. Stock portfolio looking not too bad.

Rotating my money out of other companies and into Google and I believe it will be one of the leading ai hyperscalers in the future. With the direction that Google is taking, I am certain that Google will become one of the most durable ai stock and I believe it is worth holding it for the long term.

[Week 1 - My Portfolio Health Check]

Earnings season was kinda stressful as I wasn’t sure whether capex spending from the big tech giants would lead to a dump after the earnings report. This led to my decision to take some profits by selling some meta and Amazon. However, I did not sell my Google as I was really confident in its earnings report due to its TPU chips and strong ai innovation. With my risk management, my portfolio is looking pretty healthy.
[Day 14] - My Investment Diary # My Investment Diary
Operation: preparing for the market to open and looking at entry points to enter. If it hits the desired price I’ll buy. If it doesn’t I’ll continue to wait.
Reason: I’ll be patient and buy stocks at the bottom not at its peak.
Insights: don’t fomo and buy stocks at its peak. Buy the stock at the valuation u set at.
[Day 13] - My Investment Diary # My Investment Diary
Operation: researching and waiting for the sg market and us market to open.
Reason: looking to see if any rebound is in sight. Predicting sg market to fall and a rebound for the us market on monday
Insights: use ur weekends to research stocks and be one step ahead of the market

Operation: Did not plan to build any position.
Reason: I knew it was a bear market as investors do not want to hold their stocks over the weekend due to the US iran war.
Insights: Dont hold stocks over the weekend if youre trading stocks
[Day 11 -Make-up] - My Investment Diary # My Investment Diary
Operation: Market opened red and I did nothing. Planning to sell my securities to get more cash.
Reason: Market has been very unstable and swinging sideways. Looking to pull my money out to leave it aside as my portfolio has been tanking
Insights: do not pull all ur money into investments and have some spare cash
[Day 10 -Make-up] - My Investment Diary # My Investment Diary
Operation: Held my stocks while thinking about what to sell.
Reason: The market opened mixed, with most stocks in the red due to oil prices climbing up. If price reaches 100 above per barrel, it would be bad for the market as this means inflation would hit hard. Considering to rotate more money out of tech and into safe assets like gold.
Insights: Consider diversification into other safer assets like gold
[Day 9 -Make-up] - My Investment Diary # My Investment Diary
Operation: Wanted to build a position in micron but ended up not doing so.
Reason: Risky move to buy into micron before its earnings report. Stock could potentially be dumped after its report.
Insights: Don’t buy stocks just before its earnings report.
[Day 8-Make-up] - My Investment Diary # My Investment Diary
Operation: Bought a bit of meta and was looking to enter micron but it seems it has topped. Waiting for a pull back to enter
Reason: Meta has a strong moat and I believe the price is attractive right now. Micron is a supplier of memory chips and I believe Ai right now needs them more than ever.
Insights: Ai is a trend that is gonna continue and the bull run is still ongoing
[Day 7-Make-up] - My Investment Diary # My Investment Diary
Operation: Made no trades but ill be closely looking at the sg market when it opens
Reason: Considering to enter a small position in dbs / ocbc
Insights: With the tensions in the middle east, it is safe to say that wealthy clients will be moving their wealth to safe havens for eg Singapore

Reason: Best to tune in to the latest news of us iran war and see how it is progressing
Insights: Sometimes inaction is the best action to undertake.

Operation: Did nothing today and observed the market.
Reason: There is too much uncertainty surrounding the US Iran war now and anything might happen over the weekend.
Insights: Friday is a bad day to trade especially in these uncertain times as markets might reverse anytime.
Day 4 - My Investment Diary # My Investment Diary
Operation: Added some position to QQQM
Reason: Good time to add some while market is panic selling due to oil price surge
Insights: Be greedy when others are fearful

Operation: Sold some of my position in QQQ.
Reason: Looking to hedge my portfolio by buying into defensive stocks rather than focusing on tech so much and would rather buy QQQM which has a lower expense ratio.
Insights: Always look to diversify your portfolio and not focus so much on one sector. Take not of the expense ratios of etfs so they do not eat into ur profits.

Operation: Held my stocks and did nothing.
Reason: SG market closed on the red and suspected that the US market might follow suit.
Insights: US and SG market performances have a similar relationship.
