funny detail: $Invesco QQQ Trust(QQQ.US) was forced to buy SpaceX two days ago and it's already below its debut price at 149. so every index holder now owns a fresh all-time-low position they didn't choose. that's the hidden cost of passive during hype inclusions. i hold QQQ long term and just shrug at these, but it's a reminder index buying isn't always smart buying.
$AMD(AMD.US) reportedly up about 7% Monday on Samsung's guidance and the NVDA denial. AI accelerator demand not going away, AMD is the second beneficiary after Nvidia. i'm in a small position, mostly watching whether the Samsung print translates into AMD custom silicon orders. NVDA denial helps AMD too, a healthy competitor makes the whole AI chip market look real.
$Intel(INTC.US) reopens today after rolling over hard off the $139 high, sitting around $127. the comeback trade got way ahead of itself and i already trimmed into the strength weeks ago, glad i did. keeping a small starter, not adding until it proves it can base out here. turnaround stories up 200% are where i get cautious, not greedy.
if you want to gamble on the memory bounce, the 2x Micron ETF exists, but understand what today did to it. $Micron Tech(MU.US) fell 5.5% so the 2x lost roughly 11% in a single session. leverage on a name already this volatile is a coin flip with extra steps. i'd rather own the underlying and actually sleep at night.
$Marvell Tech(MRVL.US) up almost 7 percent and something like 38 analysts have it at strong buy, small dividend ex date next week too. underrated custom silicon and CXL story riding the same AI wave as the big names. been adding on the dips 🤝
SK Hynix listing on Nasdaq July 10, basically 58 percent of the HBM market going public right when memory is the hottest trade on the street. soon the three giants all trade on US exchanges, with $Micron Tech(MU.US) already leading the pack. adding SK Hynix to my watchlist, not chasing day one though
SanDisk back to $2,090 after that monster run. the multi year fixed price contracts are the real story but the chart is stretched. trimmed a bit into strength, not shorting a name with this kind of pricing power though
SanDisk up almost 22% in one day is wild. The new fixed price multi year contracts basically lock in the margin story. NAND shortage is real and these guys finally have proper pricing power.
just remember DRAM tracks the basket but its still a momentum vehicle, not a buy-and-forget. memory is cyclical at its core, if the AI capex narrative wobbles this thing gives back fast. happy to ride it while the trend is up, but im keeping a mental stop, not marrying it.
the part of the Micron story people are underrating imo is the supply math, not the deal headline. if AI data centres are eating roughly 70% of memory supply and 2026 DRAM pricing forecasts are sitting at +125%, the earnings beat almost becomes secondary to the guidance. that's what i'm watching Wednesday: the FY26 commentary, not the FQ3 number.
WDC quietly +4% while everything else bled red today. the underdog memory play. calling 800 before year end before the year is out
SingTel is the dividend anchor of my SG portfolio. does not move much, pays me to wait, and on a day like today that stability feels really nice
space stocks finally getting institutional love, RKLB into the Nasdaq 100. i hold a small basket of space names and this is the thesis playing out slowly
five days of storage gains, one day of giving some back. the supercycle thesis did not change today, only the positioning did
interesting that the China AI name Zhipu (Z.ai) is drawing real attention on the platform. the LLM race is not just a US story anymore 🧠
genuine q, if 2026 HBM is fully sold out already, what is the next catalyst that pushes it higher from here, or is it priced in 🤔
if both Micron and SanDisk are already at records, is the ETF still early or am i buying the top of the cycle here 🤔
if 2026 HBM is fully sold out, what is the actual catalyst left to chase here, isnt that already in the price? asking seriously 🤔
if Micron HBM is sold out then Hynix is in the exact same boat, so is the 2x leverage worth the decay or should i just hold the underlying memory names 🤔
if both Micron and SanDisk are already up huge, is the ETF still early or am i buying near the top of the cycle 🤔
GOOGL basically flat while everything else swung wildly. the calmest mega cap on the board lately 💤
MU and the whole storage group ripping, TSMC hiking prices 15%, the AI capacity crunch is real 👀
red day, green thesis. nothing about today changed what HBM is worth in 12 months 🫡
Apple's WWDC gave us the clearest answer yet on its AI strategy, and the market's muted reaction said a lot. It's worth understanding exactly what was announced and why investors shrugged. What Apple ...
Apple AI reveal = cool demo, cold stock. the supercycle bulls are coping hard rn imo
