In line with the posting requirements, the following is my take.

Context: Apple remains one of the strongest consumer technology franchises, supported by its ecosystem, services business and exceptional customer loyalty. My main consideration wasn’t whether Apple is a good company, but whether the valuation offered enough upside relative to other opportunities available.

My trade: I kept my Apple exposure measured rather than chasing the stock during periods of strong momentum. I prefer adding when expectations cool or when the market gives me a better entry, instead of paying almost any price simply because the business is high quality.

Takeaway: A great business and a great investment are not always the same thing at every price. Patience on valuation can be just as important as identifying quality in the first place.

With no big news until US CPI markets will just move along. Good for long term investors but lack of opportunities for traders.

Its good that people are still doubting the AI buildout. IMO, as long as they keep showing the results, the AI beneficiaries will keep trending up.

The AI buildout is being backed up by actual revenues and profit which keeps scaling up as compute requirements goes up. IMO, that is enough to differentiate itself from a ‘bubble’.

AI demand keeps getting stronger and the chip shortage could push prices higher. Still bullish on tech, but rising Treasury yields remain a big risk to watch.

10-year treasury yield and other macro factors will affect how the market reacts this week so small position size and close whenever the trends break and DCA into the stock you will like to own with a long term time horizon of 5-10 years

Iran announced the establishment of a maritime "no-navigation zone" near the Strait of Hormuz; shipping traffic there has reportedly collapsed to its lowest level in five months, pushing US gasoline and diesel prices to record highs.

The shipping market is fueling the fire: amid soaring oil prices, large vessels rerouting, and an impending tariff war, freight rates can only be raised further, thereby becoming a driver of inflation.

We’re at peak AI euphoria and peak rate anxiety at the same time. Memory inventories at 10 days show real demand from GPT-6 and data centers. But a 5% 10-year makes funding that buildout way more expensive. Market is testing if AI fundamentals can outrun interest rates.
