Update: It's been 157 days since Michael Burry publicly went long on Adobe $Adobe(ADBE.US)
It's down ~0.5% sinceAdobe has been one of the more disappointing holdings in my portfolio. Despite slower growth and increasing competition from AI-powered creative tools, Adobe remains a highly profitable company with a strong subscription business and loyal customer base. The key question is whether its AI strategy can accelerate growth and restore investor confidence. If management executes well and revenue growth improves over the next few years, I believe a recovery to my cost price is still achievable, although it will likely require patience. Let's see.

#Trade Showcase: Trade, Show & Earn Rewards
Adobe (ADBE) saw a 2.04% drop today, with the current price at $216.010 against my entry cost of $222.727. The decline stems from broad valuation compression across creative software SaaS stocks, as investors grow cautious about near-term ROI of Adobe’s generative AI product rollouts despite its dominant market position in design and editing tools.
This trade teaches me that even industry-leading SaaS firms face price pullbacks when the market re-evaluates growth expectations. Superior product moats cannot fully insulate stocks from sector-wide risk-off sentiment in short trading cycles.
For risk management, I cap Adobe’s portfolio weight below 7% to limit software sector concentration risk. I will avoid blind cost averaging for now; instead, I will monitor subscriber retention and Firefly AI revenue contribution from quarterly earnings, and adjust position sizing only when fundamental performance confirms sustained growth. A fixed stop-loss is also set to contain further downside if bearish momentum continues.$Adobe(ADBE.US)

reason markets are struggling right now...
