    Webull (Trans): Vol. and price up after PDT removal; Q3 marketing unchanged

    The PDT rule was removed on Jun 4, driving option contract volume up 34% QoQ. Quarterly revenue hit a record $198.8mn, and Adj. OPM rose to 31.5%.

    However, marketing spend in 2H will remain roughly flat vs 1H and will not come in below Q2 levels. Management is placing the incremental upside on agentic trading and on the acquisition of Thailand's Pi Securities, expected to close by end-Aug.

    Week 2 โ€“ Earnings Impact and Portfolio Discipline

    Portfolio Overview๏ผš

    In week two of my earnings season check-up, I reviewed my holdings as Q1 results continue to come out. My portfolio is still heavily concentrated in tech and semiconductors, with Comfort Systems making up over 53% and the Direxion Semiconductor Bull 3X ETF around 21%.

    Earnings Focus๏ผš

    This week I focused on Western Digitalโ€™s earnings. The company showed strong revenue growth and better margins, driven by demand in cloud infrastructure and nearline storage, which supports my long-term view. Iโ€™m also watching NVIDIA closely ahead of its upcoming report, especially around AI and data center trends.

    On the weaker side, ProShares Ultra Gold and Palantir Technologies saw some pressure, a reminder of how sector trends and market sentiment can shift during earnings season.

    Most positions are still in positive territory overall, but the high concentration in my portfolio remains something Iโ€™m paying attention to. Doing this weekly review helps me stay grounded, focusing on how earnings impact my holdings instead of reacting to short-term moves.
