
Pegatron, one of Taiwan’s biggest electronics assembly firms, plans to build factories in North America due to tariff threats, and will be in mass production by the end of the year, media report, citing CEO Gary Cheng, who said Pegatron may have to raise its current 2025 capex plan US$300 - $350 million if it builds a plant in the USA.
