TSMC's N3 revenue is 45% ahead of N5 and 62% ahead of N7 for the first 7 quarters after node debut. N3 will, however, take 10-12 quarters to reach corporate average GM, while N5/N7 took 8-10 quarters. N3 margin dilution is also higher (3-4 percentage points) vs N5/N7 (2-3 percentage points).
