Tesla's Robotaxi Goes Public

$Tesla(TSLA.US) It seems Tesla's Robotaxi is making impressive strides. Starting today, Robotaxi services are open to the public—a significant shift from the previous invite-only access, which limited usage to a select few individuals and a small fleet of vehicles.
Elon Musk's cautious approach to safety is understandable, given the potential for explosive headlines if anything goes wrong. The decision to open Robotaxi to the public strongly suggests that the system has consistently performed well during private testing.
This move also indicates that Tesla is likely planning to deploy a significantly larger number of vehicles, as its current fleet wouldn’t be sufficient to meet the broader public's transportation demands.
As for the tech powering Robotaxi, my guess is that the Full Self-Driving (FSD) system running on these vehicles might be the upcoming FSD V14, which Elon Musk announced would roll out at the end of September. If that's the case, it's reasonable to assume that V14 has demonstrated a substantial performance leap compared to V13, making public implementation feasible.
Tesla's Robotaxi revolution is here, and it's clear that innovation continues to drive this ambitious project forward. It will be fascinating to see how the public embraces it and how Tesla scales this service in the coming months.
