Taiwan’s equity markets have overtaken France’s to be 7th biggest in the world by value on strong demand for AI-related shares, Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) Chairman Sheman Lin said, media report. The TWSE’s market cap hit US$3.41 trillion, topping France’s $3.39T. Lin said Canada, at $4.08T, may be next. The US is biggest at $72.53T, followed by China $21.21T, Japan $7.55T, India $5.38T, and the UK $4.45T.
