
SK Hynix is speeding up new fab operations to meet surging DRAM memory chip demand, Reuters reports, citing CEO Sungsoo Ryu. It will begin operations at a new fab in February, and also open the 1st of 4 fabs at its massive ₩600 trillion won (US$407 billion) Yongin semiconductor campus in South Korea 3-months early in Feb. 2027.
