Taiwan’s export orders in December rose 43.8% year-on-year to US$76.2 billion on strong AI-related demand, beating market expectations of a 35.5% gain, media report. It was the 11th straight month of double-digit growth and the best gain since Feb. 2021. Orders for ITC +88.1% and electronics +39.9% led, as orders from ASEAN surged 63.2%, the US +55.3%, and EU +47%.
