
Foxconn and partner HCL Group broke ground Saturday (2/21) on a new 370 billion rupee (US$4.1 billion) semiconductor packaging & testing plant in the north India state of Uttar Pradesh, media report. The plant is expected to be up and running in 2028 and provide 3,500 jobs.
