
Samsung has stopped accepting new orders for legacy mobile DRAM memory chips, LPDDR4, LPDDR4X, which are widely used in smartphones, tablets and laptops, The Elec reports, adding Samsung will shift production to new LPDDR5 mobile/low-power DRAM instead.
