Nvidia Did Not Need To Move To Win The Week

Nvidia closed Friday at USD 205, up a token 0.16%, while the headlines belonged to SpaceX. To me that quiet day actually says something. The most important moment for Nvidia this week was Jensen Huang publicly calling Marvell the next trillion-dollar company.

Why that quote matters

When the most powerful man in AI silicon vouches for a custom-chip partner, he is reinforcing the entire ecosystem he sits at the center of. It tells you the data center build-out is broad enough to mint multiple winners, and Nvidia is the platform all of them plug into. That is a stronger signal than any single day's price move.

The rotation question

AMD and Intel outran Nvidia on Friday. Some of that is laggards catching a bid, not leadership changing hands. I watch for whether the spread persists, but one session of catch-up does not unseat the franchise that defines the cycle.

How I hold it

I treat Nvidia as the core position and the market proxy it has become. I do not trade around it much. The thesis is intact as long as data center capex keeps climbing, and nothing this week suggested otherwise.
