Just talking about investments.

Around the time the pandemic was ending, I liquidated all my non-U.S. holdings, non-U.S. Here are some of my immature thoughts.

1. If the U.S. stock market is the world's biggest casino, each stock is a gambling table. Does each table have to follow the casino's rules? Even if they're unfair rules.

2. The popularity of each table—you might think it's because of the table itself, but actually, it's set up intentionally or unintentionally by the casino.

3. If you want to make money at a table, what can you do?

a. Get on good terms with the casino. Which table has the best relationship with the casino?

b. Change casinos? Besides the U.S. stock market, which casino has so many tables and gamblers?

4. If you're sitting at a table that doesn't have a good relationship with the casino, it's not that you can't make money—it's just that it might not be very comfortable. The AC might blow on you suddenly, or the waitstaff might give you dirty looks.

So, why bother sitting at that table at all?
