Gensler Says Big Deals Signal a ‘High-Valuation Market’

Gary Gensler, former SEC chair and a professor at MIT Sloan School of Management, said a wave of large transactions is a sign of a “high-valuation market,” according to Bloomberg. Speaking on Bloomberg’s “The Close,” Gensler pointed to the return of IPO activity, including SK Hynix raising $26.5 billion in what he described as the largest foreign debut in the US, as well as Google’s $85 billion capital raise and SpaceX going public.
