$Pfizer(PFE.US)

Context: Seeing Moderna leverage OpenAI and generative AI to accelerate its mRNA clinical pipeline made me re-evaluate legacy pharma. Pfizer has been heavily integrating AI through platforms like “Charlie” and partnerships with CytoReason to compress drug discovery timelines and cut R&D overhead. With Pfizer’s oncology push and compressed valuation post-COVID, AI efficiency could significantly improve long-term trial success rates and margins.

My trade: Opened a position. The risk-to-reward ratio looks attractive given the low valuation multiples, solid dividend yield, and underappreciated AI-driven R&D pipeline optimization compared to pure biotech peers.

Takeaway: Next time, I will scale in using smaller dollar-cost averaging tranches rather than opening a full starter position all at once to navigate sector volatility.
