JD (Trans): Profit inflection confirmed, Q3 revenue back to growth

In Q2, JD's non-GAAP attributable net income rose 21% YoY to RMB 8.9bn. Retail GPM expanded YoY for the 17th straight quarter to 18.5%.

However, total revenue still fell 2.9% YoY, and new businesses posted an OP loss of RMB 9.9bn. Management guided JD Retail to return to positive growth in Q3, while food delivery losses are expected to narrow sharply in 2H.
