The company’s recent fiscal Q3 2026 earnings report was nothing short of a blockbuster, with revenue skyrocketing 346% year-over-year to $41.46 billion, driven by insatiable data center demand for High-Bandwidth Memory (HBM). Furthermore, Micron expanded its gross margins to a staggering 84.6% and secured $22 billion in upfront customer cash deposits via long-term take-or-pay agreements extending into 2028. While the company recently reclaimed the key $1,000 price level, it faces short-term pressure and mild pullbacks over broader macroeconomic inflation worries and high required capital expenditures.

My Trade: Despite concerns of a cyclical peak from cautious value investors, I am maintaining a long position on Micron Technology Inc (MU) by accumulating shares on the current technical dip below $1,000. Trading at an incredibly cheap valuation of roughly 6 times forward earnings, the risk-to-reward ratio remains highly asymmetric given that Wall Street’s consensus 12-month target sits near $1,500. The massive multi-year contracts lock in structural revenue security that past cycles lacked. My technical strategy involves using the 50-day moving average as a baseline support level, with a planned price target of $1,300 by early 2027 while keeping a strict stop-loss below the July low of $737 to mitigate potential downside.

Takeaway: The ultimate lesson here is that AI has structurally re-rated the chip market, turning memory into an elite, highly defended growth asset rather than a basic commodity. However, retail traders must remember that semiconductors carry an inherently high risk of sharp corrections, meaning capital allocation should always be sized within a diversified tech portfolio to insulate against total loss if supply gluts emerge.

Well as much as the narrative keeps pointing to yields and I agree yields are a sticky point and that is why the Feds are doing a ‘stealthy YCC’. (Look at what Bessent just added to what he said the day earlier. I mean he is hinting at YCC without saying it. Those who get the hint will plan accordingly. Those who are waiting for a clear cut announcement and definition will be behind the curve. Even crypto is hinting at something. Hint: They flourish with liquidity. And look at USD. It is devaluing in response. Price action precedes narratives.)

Jackson hole is a key point but not sure what stuff Fed will say

Crypto was the buzz just when Trump took office and it took a bow and languished in the dark shadows for the most of the year. Now the president is back in action again to pump it up again such that funds have another avenue to rotate around, scything the retail FOMO hords.

AI infrastructure and semiconductor-related names such as SK Hynix, Micron and Lumentum continued to outperform, showing that investor demand for AI exposure remains strong despite concerns over higher capex and valuations.

Alibaba's results also highlighted this trend cloud and AI revenue surged, but profitability came under pressure as investment spending accelerated.

With Treasury yields rising again and Jackson Hole approaching, volatility could remain elevated in the near term

📌 Last session supposed many 👀 at the hottest hits for this month. I also got it though few months ago was searching what to invest. If the prices came tumbling downward, I will also consider to buy more, not worrying about the short term swings as the purpose of it is indeed worth more meaning than just AI Era as we will see how it could further transformed in the medical sciences too, another TGIF hope to close it steadily to mark a good week! Interesting that the news are not quite reporting the surge in the crypto markets and the crypto related stocks. Shall see if the rally can be sustained.

I think $Walmart(WMT.US)Walmart’s 9% drop is a useful warning that the US consumer is becoming more selective, rather than simply collapsing. A 2.6% comparable-sales growth rate, despite a strong earnings beat and raised guidance, suggests that spending momentum is cooling, especially when the profit beat was partly helped by a one-off tariff refund. I’m watching Costco, Home Depot and Amazon closely because weakness across these names could signal a broader normalization in consumer demand rather than an isolated Walmart issue.

For me, the bigger picture remains mixed rather than outright bearish. Long-end Treasury yields moving back up show that investors are still demanding a higher risk premium, while AI-related memory and optical names such as Micron, SK Hynix and Lumentum continue to show strong underlying demand. Alibaba is another good example: AI/cloud growth is accelerating, but heavy capex is compressing near-term profits. I’m therefore staying patient and selective, especially ahead of NVIDIA earnings and Jackson Hole, because the next catalyst could determine whether this pullback is simply a healthy correction or the start of a deeper valuation reset.

$MU 2X Long ETF(MUU.US)

My MUU position has been quite a journey. I started accumulating when the semiconductor and memory trade was under pressure, and for a while, the position was sitting firmly in the red. Then the market turned, $Micron Tech(MU.US) rallied aggressively, and MUU moved with it. My losses eventually turned into meaningful profits, proving once again why I was willing to stay patient with this trade.

But the story has changed again in the short term. After taking some profits, I continued holding and averaging into MUU, and the latest correction has pushed my position back into a minor loss. Honestly, I am not too concerned. I see this as another phase of volatility rather than a deterioration in the fundamental story.

What keeps me patient is the underlying strength of Micron. The company is no longer simply a traditional memory-cycle story. AI is fundamentally changing the amount and quality of memory required per accelerator and data center.

The HBM story is particularly important. Micron has previously indicated that its entire 2026 HBM production is sold out. At the same time, industry data continues to point toward strong AI-driven DRAM demand, with Micron maintaining a significant position in the global memory market.

That is why I am not treating this correction as a reason to abandon the position. The stock can absolutely fall further, and MUU carries considerably more risk than owning MU directly because of its 2x daily leverage. But if Micron's earnings growth, HBM demand, memory pricing and AI infrastructure spending remain strong, the fundamental backdrop can continue supporting another major move higher.

After experiencing MUU go from losses to profits and now back to a relatively small loss, I remain patient. I am watching the fundamentals more closely than the daily price action. If this correction is indeed approaching its final stages, I believe another memory and AI-driven rally could eventually put MUU back on the offensive.

I’d be very cautious chasing Moderna after a 177% one-day surge. The Phase 3 result is genuinely significant and could reshape the long-term cancer treatment market, but the stock has already priced in a huge amount of optimism. I’d rather wait for the initial excitement to cool and see how the commercial opportunity develops.

What interests me more is the semiconductor split. I’m still constructive on memory names like MU and SNDK given the tight AI-memory supply, but the weakness in WDC, COHR and NBIS shows how quickly funding, valuation and profit-taking can change sentiment. For me, this is a market where fundamentals matter more than simply chasing the biggest one-day winner.

This is biotech breaking out. Cancer mRNA going Phase 3 successful is a decade of R&D paying off. In chips, buybacks beat capex, so $Micron Tech(MU.US) and $Sandisk(SNDK.US) win while laggards like $Seagate Tech(STX.US) get sold.
