However, car sales for Q1 2026 rose 1.7% compared to Q1 2025, totaling 209,021 units. The Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries aims for 850,000 units in 2026, a 5.8% increase from 2025. Monthly sales also dropped 24.6% from February, with retail sales down 14.8% month-on-month.
