Intel plans to make a fresh investment in SambaNova, the AI chip developer chaired by Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, Reuters reports, which would raise its stake to 9%. Intel first invested in SambaNova in 2019, then last year, Bloomberg reported Intel was near a $1.6 billion deal for the firm, but no deal was made.
