First, let me explain why I don't trade on Fridays: First, Friday is the option expiration day, which can lead to back-and-forth losses due to option decay. In such an environment, day trading can easily result in losses. I don't have the skills to handle it, so I refrain from trading. Second, I usually close my short-term positions with profits on Fridays and avoid holding them over the weekend. There are too many uncertainties over the weekend, so I'd rather earn less than risk losing more.
