1、$NVIDIA(NVDA.US)
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang unveiled Vera, a server CPU that marks the company’s first standalone CPU product and targets CPU bottlenecks across the AI supply chain. Built on Arm with 88 custom cores, it delivers 2x the prior-gen performance. It integrates seamlessly with GPUs or can run on its own, with CoreWeave as the first deployment customer. The move breaks x86’s long-running dominance in server CPUs and further fortifies NVIDIA’s AI ecosystem moat.It also intensifies competition in server CPUs and should accelerate scaled rollout of AI factories.
2、$Coreweave(CRWV.US)
NVIDIA expanded its partnership with CoreWeave, committing an additional $2 bn equity purchase for a total of $6 bn, lifting its stake to over 11% and making it the No. 2 shareholder. CoreWeave will receive priority supply of Vera CPUs and other compute hardware, supporting plans to build 5GW of AI factories by 2030.Shares spiked over 15% intraday last night before pulling back.
3、$TENCENT(00700.HK)
Tencent’s Yuanbao began beta testing a social feature called Yuanbao Pai, enabling users to create or join groups. The AI can summarize chats, enforce check-ins, and supports image remixing, with co-watch/listen features coming next.It will connect with the WeChat and QQ ecosystems for direct sharing and invites. Tencent also announced its Yuanbao app will launch a RMB 1 bn cash campaign starting Feb 1 for the Spring Festival.Dolphin Research published a First Take last night: 偷袭珍珠港时刻!腾讯 AI 上群聊 ‘王炸’,豆包会危吗?
4、$Microsoft(MSFT.US)
Microsoft introduced Maia 200, its next-gen in-house AI accelerator built on TSMC’s 3nm process. At FP4 precision it delivers over 10 petaFLOPS, roughly 3x Amazon’s Trainium3, with 30% better perf-per-dollar.Already deployed in U.S. data centers, it will power Copilot and GPT-5.2. The chip closes Microsoft’s in-house compute gap, reduces reliance on NVIDIA GPUs, and boosts Azure’s compute competitiveness, advancing its shift toward a full-stack AI infra provider.
5、$Micron Tech(MU.US)
Micron is reportedly set to announce a new investment to add memory manufacturing capacity in Singapore, aiming to expand output amid a severe global shortage. The plan, focused on NAND flash, could be disclosed as soon as Tue local time.Micron has not commented.
