Buffett's senior apprenticeMeituan's Xiaoxiang Supermarket now covers 50 cities

Recently, I've noticed that Little Elephant Supermarket is accelerating its city expansion.
As of December 2025, it only covered 30 cities.
When I wrote the article a while back, it was already 46.
I counted again today, and it's already 50.
There are 293 prefecture-level cities in China in total, so it's basically covering 1/6 of them.
Just like Sam's Club, the front-end warehouse model itself has high economic requirements for cities. Therefore, Little Elephant Supermarket's layout is not a uniform spread; it has a very strong regional concentration, focused on a few major economic zones:
1. The Yangtze River Delta Region
Shanghai, Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Nantong, Yancheng, Yangzhou, Zhenjiang, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jiaxing, Huzhou, Shaoxing, Jinhua, Quzhou, Lishui, Taizhou, Taizhou, as well as Hefei, Wuhu, Ma'anshan, and Tongling in Anhui. It also includes strong county-level cities like Kunshan and Yiwu.
2. The Pearl River Delta / Greater Bay Area
Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan, Huizhou, Jiangmen, Qingyuan, Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Zhaoqing.
3. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region
Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Tangshan, Langfang, Cangzhou.
4. Central China / Central and Western Regions
Wuhan, Huanggang, Changsha, Yueyang, Zhuzhou, as well as Chongqing, Chengdu, and Xi'an in the west.
If I remember correctly, Yancheng, Tongling, Huanggang, and Lishui were newly opened around February, reaching 46 cities at that time.
Recently, four more cities were opened, reaching 50. However, I'm not entirely sure which four cities they are.
I haven't been following it closely. If any of you know, please leave a comment.
That's all for today's share.
