Job Responsibilities (About The Role / You Will)
We are looking for a highly organized and execution-focused project manager to lead capacity ramp-up and tech transfer activities at a peptide API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) manufacturing facility. This role will drive cross-functional coordination among operations, quality (QA/QC), and global partners to ensure successful process transfer, facility readiness, and on-time project delivery.
Specific responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for end-to-end project management of peptide manufacturing tech transfer, process implementation, and facility preparation.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment without direct administrative authority.
  • Ability to balance organizational structure with specific project execution in a fast-changing and evolving environment.
  • Strong risk management and problem-solving skills, able to anticipate challenges and implement practical solutions.
  • Maintain smooth collaboration with global teams and flexibly adjust work hours as needed to support international partners and project milestone achievements.
    Requirements (You Have)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field.
  • Work Experience: 5+ years of project management experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Core Qualification (Strongly Preferred): Direct experience leading tech transfers, process scale-up, facility start-up, or commercialization projects.
  • Bonus: Experience supporting peptide API manufacturing or other complex chemical manufacturing processes is preferred.
  • Core Competencies:
  • Proven experience successfully managing complex cross-functional projects under tight timelines with multiple stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of tech transfer, process validation, and cGMP manufacturing workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience reporting results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Base Salary: $110,000/year - $130,000/year. (Actual compensation will be based on the candidate's skills and experience)
