$XTALPI(02228.HK) I placed a buy order to get back in, but it seems to be rallying. No chance for my order to fill.

$XTALPI(02228.HK) Things are really picking up these days. Looking around, everything is on the rise. But check the time—well, the Oct 1 holiday is just around the corner. For HK stocks, the Oct 1 holiday marks a key inflection point. You can't apply old rules to new situations. Keep an eye on it.
$Rocket Lab(RKLB.US) Should I keep buying? That's the question.
$Rocket Lab(RKLB.US) won't even give us a chance to trade? Then we'll just wait. If you've got the guts, don't come down.
$Rocket Lab(RKLB.US) asked the Claude+Jev combo whether it's a good time to add more positions in 'Little Rocket'. Here are the answers:
Data is complete. RKLB at $64.57, down 4.79% (Friday close; US markets currently pre-market).
Verdict: Worth adding, but do it in tranches.
Revenue growth of 62%, all four loss metrics narrowing, and debt actually dropped by nearly 20%. The only yellow flag is operating cash flow of −$84.08M (−261.74%), but they just raised $1.06 billion, so this isn't an issue in the short term.
Operations are also delivering: the 96th successful Electron launch, Neutron's first full-flight contract, a $981 million NITE-STAR project with the U.S. Space Force, a Viasat small GEO satellite order, and a backlog of $2.36 billion (roughly 2.6x TTM revenue). Jev rates 'operational momentum' as improving, with 0.99 confidence.
So what caused the −57% drop?
I originally thought it was due to the Iridium acquisition, but further checks showed otherwise. This deal was first reported on 2026-06-29, yet the stock had already fallen from its May high of $150.23 to $84.54 (−43.7%) before that. On the day of the announcement, the stock actually rose 16% ($84.54 → $98.01) — the market initially bought into it.
2026-05-27 150.23 Period High
2026-06-26 84.54 Before Iridium First Report ← Already −43.7%
2026-06-29 98.01 First Report (+16%)
2026-07-24 63.91
2026-08-13 80.10
2026-09-18 64.57 Latest
So the main decline phase was valuation compression prior to the deal, followed by high volatility across the sector. Friday's −4.79% drop was also not company-specific—ASTS was down 7%, RDW down 7%, and the entire space sector was falling.
Jev's classification of the 18 news items this time was truly split evenly: 6 bullish / 6 bearish / 4 neutral / 2 irrelevant, with 9 company-specific vs. 9 sector-wide. The key lies in the cross-analysis—4 out of the 6 bearish items were sector-wide, while the remaining 2 merely described Friday's drop itself; conversely, 5 out of the 6 bullish items were company-specific. The judgment on 'whether the decline was driven by company-specific bad news' is noul 0.32, meaning: No.
Where does the Iridium deal stand now?
Jev has priced the deal risk at 1.68 (leaning towards 'High: Transformative relative to company size, financing or integration remains uncertain'), but confidence is only 0.52. Moreover, its 'financing uncertainty' has been factually overturned—I pulled the original text:
- Financing locked on 9/15, confirmed fully financed on 9/16; the previous $3.6 billion bridge loan has been terminated (replaced by permanent financing, not a financing failure)
- Passed the first FCC hurdle on 9/17
- Iridium has announced a special shareholder meeting for voting
So what remains are not financing risks, but shareholder voting, subsequent regulatory approval, and integration risks.
To put things in perspective: IRDM's market cap is about $5 billion ($46.77 × 106 million shares); the stated $8 billion is likely enterprise value (including net debt), not equity consideration. Iridium itself is profitable (TTM EPS 0.88), and consolidating it will materially improve RKLB.
Alright. Moving on. Action starts pre-market today: continue selling XtalPi $XTALPI(02228.HK) to buy 'Little Rocket'.
$XTALPI(02228.HK) Letting Claude Code drive Jev, the hottest judgment model, and after a series of chaotic moves: continue to recommend selling.
$XTALPI(02228.HK) The cultivation of warrant leeks. After selling, do you hope it drops? 😄
$XTALPI(02228.HK) Did it also have a surge at this time last year? I remember it did.
$XTALPI(02228.HK) is having a great moment, can it continue next week? Even better, $iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF(IBIT.US)$IShares Ethereum Trust ETF(ETHA.US) — both BTC and ETH are rallying too! Awesome 👍
$XTALPI(02228.HK) Good close. Happy weekend, keep adding to positions $Rocket Lab(RKLB.US)$Tesla(TSLA.US)$Roundhill Memory ETF(DRAM.US)
$XTALPI(02228.HK) Come on, cover the gap, cover the gap 😄 Made some short-term gains from $XL2CSOPHYNIX(07709.HK) today to treat myself to a meal, so happy.
$XL2CSOPHYNIX(07709.HK) Closed the position. Bought 1,000 shares yesterday afternoon. Profit is decent. Having a good lunch. 😂
$XL2CSOPHYNIX(07709.HK) It's really satisfying to make some spending money. I can do this every day. The analysis is mainly based on the 5-minute K-line.
$Rocket Lab(RKLB.US) Talk about a slap in the face. The hype is fading. 😄 But long-term investing is fine for me though.
$Rocket Lab(RKLB.US) feels like adding more positions is fine. This level is still very sweet. It just depends on how much cash you have on hand.
$Tesla(TSLA.US) I think the one thing that's least likely to go wrong is buying Tesla. Just buy it. No matter what the current price is. It's always a buy.
$Tesla(TSLA.US) bought one lot, the future is here. Although there is a risk of 'sell the news', I choose to believe in Elon.
$XTALPI(02228.HK) On the plane, reading some materials on Moderna, I suddenly feel that maybe Crownpeak's decision to abandon its own pipeline and focus solely on being a platform could be a mistake. This might be a potential concern and point of reflection for the market in its pricing. After all, the business model of a platform approach always lacks certainty. However, interestingly, Crownpeak's role in driving pipeline progress within the ecosystem is positive.
It really puts me in a dilemma.
$XTALPI(02228.HK) It's only when you actually try to sell that you realize the expected liquidity was decent, but in reality, it's quite poor. From this perspective, there may be fewer than 20 stocks in the Hong Kong market that are truly suitable for heavy concentration.
$Tesla(TSLA.US) Does it feel like the addition was too small? Added about 1,200 shares over the past week.
$XTALPI(02228.HK) sold about 500k shares, and from last night, bought back 3,000 shares of $Rocket Lab(RKLB.US) and 600 shares of $Tesla(TSLA.US). Sigh, nothing much to say.
$Rocket Lab(RKLB.US) Decided to buy the little rocket and start selling an equivalent amount of Xtal tomorrow. Given the overall economic situation in 'Big East', I think rebalancing the portfolio is reasonable.
