$Singtel(Z74.SG)is one of those positions that I love and hate. having exited previously around 4.9, I find myself holding this share again at albeit smaller position, recently boosted by its improved rating based on a better balance sheet, I still feel that despite all that, I might find myself selling again at the same price as I don't see telcos enjoying a good time ahead....

purely looking at STI $FTSE Straits Times Index(STI.SG), I've been waiting for awhile, the inexorable climb has to stop somewhere, I just have to be ready for it when it occurs

honestly I really would prefer it if @$ComfortDelGro(C52.SG)feelijgna little dicey at this point, I'm not sure if there's a need to maintain this or just say my goodbyes... thoughts?

I'd consider this as hanging in the middle of nowhere, makes one anxious but at the end of the day, discipline has to win out. Wait for the right price!

My portfolio Health Check - Week 6

I'm finally done with streamlining my portfolio, cash all ready for some action. last of the sell orders was $UOB(U11.SG). it's been a long and wild ride, but I think it's time we parted ways old friend.

as the volatility starts to affect share prices, I'm maintaining my preset orders and checking in on my portfolio less. discipline in not jumping in because of FOMO, maintaining confidence that my picks are correct and price points set provide sufficient buffer... hanging in there!

but it sorta of does get me pretty excited. a little twisted I know. I don't think $Singtel(Z74.SG)is a bad company, but it's one of those that has to go unfortunately. doesn't fit with the narrative anymore for a long term dividend growth machine. I'm sorry Singtel....

very conflicted about $ThaiBev(Y92.SG), yes the dividends are attractive but at the same time just draw a straight line and you'll see where the share price is going....

Honestly I think long positions for Singapore banks at this moment maybe with the exception of $UOB(U11.SG), I just done see it in them to catch up with the other 2 locals

Week 2 - My portfolio health check, slow but steady

a bit if an unexpected growth here, i must admit I had abit of a YOLO mentality going into this position but was pleasantly surprised with the return so far. nothing flashy or fanciful of course. but I tell myself, slow and steady wins the race!

Week 1 - My portfolio at a glance, needing massive clean up

one of those stocks that I unfortunately need to do some clean up on. not to say that it's a bad company for sure, but just doesn't fit in with the narrative anymore. Always looking at the long term, not the short term. setting limit prices and not checking the app like a maniac!

probs just going to wait for ex date and sell off my holdings, banks are taking up too large a chunk of my money

with whatever happening in the middle east, I've already started taking profits and holding on to cash just to be ready for action when the time comes

I still think a recessions just around the corner and it won't exactly be a Singapore only thing. Iran, AI are all compounding and 1+1 is always greater than 2 unfortunately

oh DBS, I'm actually at quite a loss regarding the performance recently. Despite the fact that it heartens me to see all that green on the board, I'd be amiss if I didn't say that I'd much prefer massive reds at this point of time. healthier for everyone
