For me I think the easy money for chips have gone, money has rotated out to safety value stocks and healthcare. Despite the rallies in skhy I do not think it means all in about a second rallies. Slowly DCA if you like either stx or skhy. Not financial advice.

The markets have high expectations for earnings. High free cash flow and capex must be used in such a way that generates lots more than the companies expected for it to rise like Microsoft but other stocks despite meeting expectations, drop sharply. So on a lookout for more downturn and slowly DCA on your way down and take profits when it raises too quickly (example 1 week grow 20%) during a short time duration.

As oil prices keep increasing and macro concerns grow uncertainty in the market. Markets where stocks drastically increase might have slowed so risk reward to upside might be smaller compared to market consolidation in range or sharp movement drop. Bear case for Google will be that it drops to $200/170 range due to negative cashflow and even more spending and as financial analyst predicted at the beginning of year Google did not breakout much after previous year price increase. So with long years time horizon below 200 will be a good buy zone. Not financial advice.

Interesting Sk Hynix sharply increase while STX dropped off is something I did not expect due to how Trump wanted more from home grown chips through US big companies have limitations to outside chips yet demand from Sk Hynix remains high. If this is the point semis turns about it will be a good time to DCA slowly into the stock as we are not out of the woods yet for the macro economy market drop.

There will be lots of volatile this week whether it is for the semis sectors or even stocks in the Mags 7 are releasing earnings. These all could move the market and the Fed talk should be on the lookout. So do not risk if you have profit you want to take can take it. A profit is a profit no matter if it is big or small. I will look towards $Amazon(AMZN.US) because of the fact that people will still require goods and services even during bad economic so either downturn , consolidate before rumping up high or choppy in range. DCA slowly into the stock if you also like the stock and not financial advice.

My pick is on $Seagate Tech(STX.US) as after brutal drop on semiconductors uncertainty on share price. The company earnings can still be on a right track and consolidate for future upside but if macro worsen then there will be downside despite good earnings. Not financial advice.

My pick is $Amazon(AMZN.US) as end of year is coming the sales will be great but more importantly with cloud business growing. It has potential to raise higher into 300 by June next year if the market does not change into bear market. Not financial advice.

This week the market Nasdaq is in a downward trend so I will not be surprised if it closes lower but if it remains the same or higher we might have reached a local bottom before a huge movement upwards or downward. The gains most likely be too crowded or drastic drops might be coming. Most gains are made when no one is talking about a company or when the company with good positive free cash flow is beaten down badly.

With how the market has reacted most likely we are entering into a bear market that has not yet come in years. Not saying AI or anything that innovative will stop or not be looked at but they will most likely build during a long time in a bear market before going up drastically for example just like Nvidia more than a decade ago.
