The ghost fleet continues to maintain crude oil exports, especially since the reserves of a friendly major power are insufficient. This is not a big deal for Iran, but market panic has affected a wide range of mature market economies, including Singapore.

No surprises on Singapore’s inflation readings. Having such an efficient public transport system, Singaporeans should be utilising it more but the youngsters especially just love travelling in comfort!

Amid all this volatility USD may weaken in the short term and it seems wise to stay invested in blue chip SGX stocks and also good time to bargain hunt for US growth stocks

I personally think the market especially AI stocks is overheated. I trust the reported earnings and the real contributions from AI. The current overall sentiment is too optimistic and does not seem to fully account for current geopolitical risks. Time will tell.

Today is Friday, so do avoid opening too many positions. You never know when Donald Trump might move the market with a tweet🤭.
