Bought AMC back in January, and it’s finally stepping back into the spotlight.
What seems to be helping sentiment lately is the stronger box office backdrop. AMC recently reported a strong 5-day Easter weekend, and the market also seems to be reacting to progress on the refinancing side.
What I’m watching next is whether the momentum can be supported by the broader summer movie lineup and any further improvement in sentiment around the business.
A good reminder that some positions take time, and sometimes the story only starts getting attention again much later.
