The seasonally adjusted annualized quarter-on-quarter growth rate of US GDP in Q1 was revised to 1.3%, in line with expectations, while the initial reading was 1.6%. The number of initial jobless claims in the US last week was 219K, compared to the forecast of 217K and the previous reading of 215K. At the time of writing, the three major stock index futures have narrowed their losses.
